Furieuse

Feeling pretty down today after the landlady came into our kitchen and practically accused us of living like pigs, sure the bin was a bit too full and there were some crumbs on the table but the kitchen was essentially clean and tidy, not, as she suggested, 'a health hazard'. Even if it had been dirty, since we're renting it it's none of her business. It was particularly directed at me as well 'Oh don't worry Stefanie I know you're clean, but after all there are two of you." This is after the comment a couple of days ago when having a late lunch that we're 'always eating,' really rude and not true. Really just wanted to say excuse me, stay out of our business and if you don't have anything nice to say don't bother saying anything to us. Can't remember the last time I was so angry at anyone!!!

  1. Bloody hell! What a bitch! She shouldn't even be coming into your kitchen really at all. Hugs.

  2. Thanks! Yeah exactly, it's such a weird living situation when the landlady comes in all the time but I've actually met a few people here in France who have similar living situations i.e. renting a part of someone's house and occasionally that person will come into the part being rented. It wouldn't be so bad except the landlady doesn't like me! Getting a bit fed up of that aspect of the flat, but then I have 2 really nice flatmates (and a 3rd flatmate... but he's another story!) and I really like my room, so don't think I'd move out unless my flatmates were coming with me!

  3. My landlord leased a simple studio out to me and my boyfriend but she still had a bunch of her extra furniture in the apartment for the first 3 weeks that I lived here (alone so far, but my boyfriend arrives in a few days). I asked her if she could remove the extra furniture (a 2nd bed, a chair, etc) because it took up a lot of the floor space and she was like, "I knew it would be too small for you. What did I tell you?"

LADY, IT'S ONLY TOO SMALL BECAUSE YOU HAVE AN EXTRA *BED* IN HERE!!!!!!!

    guh.
